Celebrating the Human Spirit

We invite you to join us for our first ever virtual Gala on Friday, September 25, 2020. We will honor the story of one team and four people who brought about the nation’s first paired exchange for living donor liver transplantation.

It is a story that celebrates the innovation and compassion of the University Health System Transplant Center team, the love and courage of two donors who gave the gift of life to a stranger, and two recipients who are incredibly grateful for this precious gift and chance for restored health.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Fund The Mission

This year’s Fund the Mission efforts through the Medical Miracles Gala will directly support the needs of living organ transplant donors so they may be able to give the gift of life. In 2019, 1 out of 2 living liver organ donors was unable to donate due to a lack of insurance coverage or financial constraints for their post-operative care. With your help, we can save more lives.
