Women’s Health Emergencies

We offer the only 24-hour OB-GYN emergency room specifically dedicated to women’s needs. When you experience abnormal vaginal bleeding, early pregnancy complications or any other urgent women’s health issue, you will be directed to our special OB-GYN waiting room located on the 4th floor from the C elevators at University Hospital, separate from the general emergency room.

We offer comprehensive family planning services, including emergency contraception. We specialize in:

Adolescent Care

Young women often have questions about reproduction. Our nurses and doctors take time to provide education about birth control, safer sex practices and sexually transmitted diseases. We provide routine gynecological exams and screenings to keep adolescent women healthy as they move into adulthood. They can access a wide variety of services through our Teen Health Clinic.

Contraception Management

We work with women of all ages to find the most effective contraceptive for them. We offer birth control pills/patch, Depo-Provera®, diaphragms, implantable birth control, intrauterine devices (IUDs) and tubal ligation (sterilization).
