COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments

University Health is offering Pfizer vaccine for children 5 -11 by appointment only to reduce crowds and help make children as comfortable as possible. Persons 12 and older do not need an appointment.

Same-day telemedicine appointment

University Health offers telemedicine for urgent care needs for adults and children for new and existing patients from 8 a.m. – 10 p.m., seven days a week. Please call 210-644-3209 to schedule an appointment.

New Patients

Thank you for entrusting us with your care. We invite you to request an appointment or telemedicine visit. Once you submit the form below, you can expect to hear back from us within 1-2 business days.

An adult family member or guardian must accompany children in order to provide written consent for the vaccination. Proof of age is not required.  

Walk-In ExpressMed Clinics

If you are experiencing symptoms that are not life-threatening, consider visiting one of our walk-in ExpressMed clinics. No appointment is required.

Providers at our ExpressMed clinics treat conditions in adults and children including:

  • Allergies/asthma
  • Cold and flu
  • Ear infection
  • Flu
  • Minor cuts and burns
  • Rash
  • Sore throat
  • Sprains
  • Urinary tract infection
  • Vomiting/diarrhea
  • Stomach aches
  • Fever or headaches

Back-to-school immunizations

Immunizations are needed throughout your child’s life to protect against serious diseases. At University Health, we help families by providing age appropriate immunizations to help prevent the flu and major childhood illnesses such as chickenpox, measles, mumps, rubella and more. Find out which vaccines are recommended for your child based on their age.
