Member Benefits & Services
Community Education and Resources
We love our community as well as our patients. A healthy community depends on both education and resources, so we aim to provide both to organizations to help the people of Bexar County stay active, happy and healthy.
We provide educational workshops to help families in our community learn more about CareLink as well as the Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplace. We can also help families understand their private insurance.
Our outreach representatives assist organizations, schools and churches with providing community-wide training and support to families who need health-related services. Whether that’s completing enrollment applications, hosting educational workshops or organizing health fairs, we’re here to help.
For more information about our community outreach initiatives and how we can help your organization provide health-related events, contact our outreach representatives at 210-358-3290 or complete the community outreach form.
Connecting Kids to Coverage
Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) both offer free or low-cost health insurance for children and teens up to age 19. Children can get regular check-ups, sick visits and hospital care, dental care, mental health services, immunizations, prescriptions and more.
Children in a family of four earning up to $52,668 a year may qualify. Watch this short video to learn more about enrolling your kids.

Enrollment and Renewal Assistance
