Security Analyst

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

The Security Analyst will assist the Bio-Medical and Radiology teams with vendor liaison relating to operating system vulnerability scanning, patching, and rebooting for FDA-controlled software and devices and track various vendor metrics and response times to help quantify UHS risks. They are responsible for maintenance and operations of Data Security applications to include the NetIQ Identity Manager.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Five or more years of experience in information technology and three or more years of experience in information security
  • Experience with NetIQ Identity Manager
  • Information security certification required

Biomed Tech – Renal Dialysis

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

The Biomedical Technician in Renal Dialysis performs operator related preventive maintenance, and accomplishes minor repairs of dialysis equipment to include the inspection, testing, disinfection, calibrating, and adjusting of machines; maintains tools and test equipment. The Techs also operate and monitor the reverse/osmosis water systems, dialysate delivery system, reuse system, and make sure that all the equipment is disinfected properly.

Education/Experience:

  • High school graduate or equivalent experience is required
  • Course of study in repair and maintenance of dialysis equipment or RO water treatment is required
  • National Certification through BONENT or NANT preferred
  • Two years of experience in preventive maintenance activities and inventory management in a renal dialysis setting is required

Special Procedures Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab & Radiology

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

Radiology Special Procedures Technologist performs specialized procedures requiring independent judgment, assuring all safety standards are met. Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist assists the cardiology team in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and other related procedures.

Education/Experience:

  • Associates Degree
  • One year required for Radiology and one year preferred for Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Texas License (MRT), ARRT registry for Radiology and ARRT registry or RCIS required for Cardiac Cath Lab
  • BLS (American Heart Association)
