Organizational Performance Manager

Ideal candidate will have solid experience in business analytics, dashboard creation, key process indicators, MIDAS, and MS Excel. The manager must be able to tell a story with data, manage multiple projects in the healthcare system.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, clinical informatics, or other healthcare related field required. Masters degree in healthcare related field is highly preferred.
  • Five plus years of relevant healthcare experience in data analysis and preparation of QI or related reports is preferred.

Manager – Ambulatory Clinical Area

This exciting position is located at our downtown campus, Robert B Green. The department is Express Medicine/ Urgent Care. We are looking for a Registered Nurse with supervisory experience that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required (Magnet).
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Five years of related, progressively responsible outpatient or public health nursing experience is required.
  • Two years in a supervisory capacity is required.

Licensure:

  • Registered Nurse (Texas license) is required.
  • Certification in Nursing Administration or Community Health is preferred.

Credentialing Manager

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

The Credentialing Manager will manage the quality and production of the Credential Verification Services and Medical Staff Services process. The qualified applicant will have experience in primary sourcing credentials and have had participated in joint commission audits.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical staff services, graduate medical education and/or centralized verification services in a complex health system is preferred.
  • Working knowledge JCAHO, NCQA, CMS, federal, state and regulatory agency requirements; as well as, ACGME policies and procedures are required.

Licensure/Certification:

Certification by the National Association of Medical Staff Services is preferred.

Program Manager – CareLink

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

Assists CareLink Executive Director with the analysis of large and complex data sets using a logical, systematic approach to problem solving involving mathematical and statistical techniques and/or innovative /quantitative analytical approaches to draw conclusions and make 'insight to action' recommendations to resolve business problems and drive change. The work performed by the Program Manager involves gathering, manipulating and synthesizing data (e.g., attributes, transactions, behaviors, etc.), models and other relevant information to draw conclusions and make recommendations resulting in implementable strategies. The decision science work includes, synthesis and analysis and will encompass population-health, geospatial analysis and related functions considered central to fact-based decision-making to aid in the provision of services to CareLink members and understand patterns of utilization. Collaborates with internal and external departments for purposes of data collection, analysis, project management and implementation. Creates customized reports based on data analysis and participates in efforts to improve and drive operational performance and will work to develop a culture of "self-service" reporting.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in the Social Sciences, Health Services Research, or related field and two years of research experience is required.
  • Master's Degree and experience in quantitative research preferred.

Application System Analyst Programmer

Responsibilities:

The Application System Analyst Programmer is the SCC Soft LIS subject matter expert and will assist with any issues that may arise daily. Responsible for SCC Soft LIS configuration, checks, daily charting, and testing of all modules to include coordinating all changes with Laboratory, physicians, nursing, IDX billing coordinator as well as our SCC SOFT Vendor. Advise/troubleshoot all daily billing problems for Hospital (IDX) and Reference Laboratory. Lead for HIS Interfaces, troubleshoot and validate new HIS versions and interface changes. Configures new Laboratory Tests in Sunrise EMR as necessary. Provides backup support for SoftBank, SoftID, SoftID.TX, CoPath and Copath Plus.

Financial Analyst – Community First Health Plans

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

Position provides professional level financial operational support to the Chief Financial Officer. Initiative, independent judgment, and decision making abilities under limited supervision is required.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related business field with at least one year of related experience, preferably in a health care budgeting setting, is required.
  • Two years of experience preferred.
  • Two years of experience with medical data analysis using SQL preferred.
  • Experience in IRS Form production preferred.

Security Ambassador – Protective Services

Responsibilities:

The Security Ambassador will provide customer assistance, information and aid to the patients, guests, staff and physicians of the University Health System. The Ambassador will serve as a positive representative of University Health System while supporting the Health System's Commitment to Service Excellence standards. The Ambassador will responds to requests for assistance and provide patrol of property to ensure the safety and security of life and property of patients, visitors, staff and physicians on all property owned, leased, rented or otherwise under the jurisdiction and control of the Health System.

Registration Access Specialist

Position Responsibilities:

  • Interviews patients to obtain accurate and complete patient demographic and insurance information in order to complete the admission and registration of all patients.
  • Communicates with self-pay patients about charges and assists patient with payment arrangements.
  • Collects appropriate forms as required by Medicare, Medicaid insurance companies and or other agencies.

Education/ Experience:

  • High school graduation or equivalent is required.
  • Six (6) months experience in a hospital/physician setting, obtaining insurance benefits and pre-certification is preferred.
  • Prior collection experience is preferred. Billing experience and contract knowledge is preferred.
  • One year of experience in a similar occupation and basic medical terminology and ICD 9 coding experience is preferred.
