Compensation Analyst

We are looking for a talented HR professional to join our expert compensation team.

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

Administers the position control system, processes position modifications, opens new positions, and monitors position requests to ensure timely processing.

Assists in the completion of compensation projects and resolves compensation related issues promptly.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or a related field is required.
  • Three years of recent progressive experience in compensation preferred.
  • PeopleSoft experience is highly preferred.

Pharmacy Technician

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

Performs a variety of duties in pharmacy operations and assists the pharmacists in the accomplishment of their duties. Accomplishers under the supervision of the professional staff, competent, efficient and timely performance of assignments within the structure of the pharmacy department.

Education/Experience:

  • Two years’ experience in inpatient/outpatient pharmacy is highly preferred
  • Texas State Board Pharmacy is required

Administrative Assistant – Financial Operations Support

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

Provides high level administrative support to the COO of University Health System, by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. Must have impeccable communication, organization and analytical skills.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Accounting and finance experience preferred
  • Two years of financial operations support experience is highly preferred. (Experience may be substituted for college courses)

Navigator – Recovery Support Specialist

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

The Recovery Support Specialist will conduct community outreach and provide case management, recovery support, education and referrals to patients with chemical dependency issues. The Navigator will also assist patients in identifying their psychological, personal and environmental challenges related to substance abuse in order to achieve maximum therapeutic and functional capacity.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience in conducting community-based outreach and education programs is required
  • Must have shared-life experience with substance use, and be eligible to take Recovery Support Peer Specialist training
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, or Certified Recovery Support Peer Specialist strongly preferred
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly preferred
  • Valid TX Driver’s License

Surgical Tech

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

Surgical Techs perform a variety of duties in the Operating Room to assist the surgical team. They provide competent assistance in caring for the safety and welfare of the patient in the operating room and for the efficient and prompt performance of assignments.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program and a certification as a surgical technologist; or employed as a surgical technologist for one (1) year in a health care facility before September 1, 2009; or, completion of an appropriate training program for surgical technology in the Armed Services of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service.
