Licensed Vocational Nurse – Renal Dialysis

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse will provide skilled direct patient care (dialysis) and monitor renal dialysis patients. The qualified applicant would operate all renal dialysis equipment and recognize changes in the renal patient’s condition while on dialysis. They would administer medication and access hemodialysis catheters for the patient care techs as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • Three years recent experience in general patient care is required
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse License is required
  • Current AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required

Sr. Polysomnographic Technician – Sleep Technician

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

The Sr. Sleep Technician will perform and score polysomnography testing within the Sleep Lab. The qualified applicant will have experience in scoring sleep studies and have experience with pediatric patients.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
  • One year of experience scoring sleep studies is required. Experience with pediatric patients is preferred

Program Manager – Master’s Degree Required

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

The Program Manager will support the Research/Data Informatics Department and will be responsible for data management, analysis and results interpretation/reporting for a variety of University Health System projects. The Manager will collaborate with internal and external departments for purposes of analysis, project management, and implementation. The Manager will create timely, customized reports based on operations requests and participates in efforts to improve operational performance.

Education/Experience:

  • Master’s degree in the Social Sciences, Health Services Research, or related field and two years of experience is required.
  • Experience in Health Care analytics is preferred.
  • Superb customer service, written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong critical thinking and logical skills and the ability to work independently is required.

Proactively analyzes data and reviews processes in the Supply Chain Management function. Pharmacy Liaison

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

The University Health System Ambulatory Pharmacies are seeking a motivated Pharmacy Liaison to consent patients, to choose University Health System as their preferred pharmacy, at the time of their clinic appointment. The Pharmacy Liaison will meet daily metrics by consenting patients and increasing patient adherence ensuring patients receive prescription medications following their appointment.

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • College or commercial school courses in marketing, sales, business or other related areas is preferred.
