Microbiology Scientist

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

Performs procedures for testing or analysis on specimens submitted to the laboratory.

Education/Experience:

Bachelors or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in medical technology, clinical laboratory, chemical, physical, or biological science

OR

High school graduate or equivalent, successfully completed military training of 50 or more weeks, and served as a medical laboratory specialist.

Certification:

Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) is required.

Outpatient Transplant Nurse Supervisor

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse Manager (Patient Care Coordinator-PCC) will be responsible for performing expert leadership skills in management of staff and coordination of patient care activities. The professional RN will work collaboratively with all healthcare providers and non-health care providers. Will serve as a mentor and role model for all staff and will receive mentoring for the Nursing Director. Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm work schedule.

Education/Experience:

  • Must have a current Texas RN licensure
  • BSN Required
  • BLS from the American Heart Association and national certification in related field are required.
  • Three (3) years recent, full-time hospital experience with a minimum of two (2) years in an equivalent management or leadership capacity

Registration Access Specialist- Call Center

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

As a Registration Access Specialist for our Call Center you will be responsible for taking inbound calls and making appropriate outbound calls to schedule appointments. You will also be obtaining and verifying patient data, insurance eligibility and financial responsibility.

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Call Center experience a plus
  • Bilingual preferred

Pharmacy Technician

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

Performs a variety of duties in pharmacy operations and assists the pharmacists in the accomplishment of their duties. Accomplishes under the supervision of the professional staff, competent, efficient and timely performance of assignments within the structure of the pharmacy department.
