Big teams saving little lives
On June 6, 2002 AirLife transported five critically injured children to the University Hospital trauma center after a passenger van crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler in rush hour traffic.
The goal: To get them healthy and get them home

Two of the children were released the following day.

Two more went home the following week.

Eight-year-old Joey was the most critical. He was
released from University Hospital on July 5.
Trauma can happen to anyone, any where
College student Julie Beasley was in a Kerr County
field doing research in March 2001 when she was
shot by a fugitive on the run from authorities.
She was taken by AirLife to University Hospital
in extremely critical condition.
