Adult Diabetes Clinic
Recognized by the American Diabetes Association for exceptional treatment of diabetes, the clinic is staffed with renowned physicians and faculty.

Guided by Dr. Charles Reasner, the clinic performs endless medical tasks from general monitoring and taking blood pressure to medication administration and education of the patient about monitoring their diabetes on a daily basis.

The clinic has a stellar reputation for maintaining the patient’s overall Hemoglobin A1C levels, which is a specialized test that indicates how well a patient is monitoring his or her own blood sugar levels.

Along with board certified diabetes specialists, the Clinic houses podiatrists, ophthalmologists, diabetes educators, nutritionists, and exercise physiologists. The goal of this clinic is to prevent the devastating complications of diabetes.

Monica Lee, MD
serves as Medical Director of the Adult Internal Medicine Clinic. Dr. Lee is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. She received her Medical Degree from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio in San Antonio, TX.

Carmen Cawley, MD
serves as a Physician of the Adult Internal Medicine Clinic. Dr. Cawley is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. She received her Medical Degree from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio in San Antonio, TX, and served her Residency at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Annie Chacko, MD
serves as a Physician of the Adult Internal Medical Clinic. Dr. Chacko is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. She received her Medical Degree from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio in San Antonio, TX, and served her residency at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Nicole Grant, MD
serves as a Medical Director of the Adult Internal Medical Clinic. Dr. Grant is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. She received her Medical Degree from Stanford University , and served her residency at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.

Chandana Tripathy, MD
serves as a Physician of Adult Internal Medicine. Dr. Tripathy is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. She received her Medical Degree from Sriram Chandra Buanj Medical College in Orissa, India, and served her residency at New York State University in Buffalo, NY.
