Patients, their families and our community depend on us to provide the highest level of care every day. Thanks to your philanthropic goodwill, you help make it possible.
As a nonprofit hospital system, we rely on both public funds and private contributions to meet the healthcare challenges of today and the future. While public funds address the most basic needs at University Health System, private contributions allow us to improve delivery of care to patients and support urgent healthcare needs outside of our budget.
This unrestricted fund enables the Foundation to use your gift to respond to ever-changing community requirements and emergencies, including future needs that often can't be anticipated. These donations allow us the greatest flexibility to meet the most pressing demands of University Health System at any time such as funding our trauma mission, purchasing specialized medical equipment, and providing care during a manmade or natural disaster.
