Hand Therapy

Our Hand Therapists at Reeves Rehabilitation Center in San Antonio, TX have either completed advanced study in hand therapy, have additional national certification through Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC) and/or have significant experience to treat disorders of the arm and hand. We work very closely with orthopedic and plastic surgery physicians to achieve maximum functional outcomes. With a comprehensive evaluation, development and execution of an individualized treatment plan, you can return to your highest possible level of independence in work, life and daily living activities.

Hand Therapy consists of assessment and treatment of any condition that limits or does not allow use of the arm and hand. Whether the injury is due to an accident, sport injury or disease process, rehabilitation is needed to strengthen muscles, reduce pain and restore movement. Hand function is essential to gaining independence with daily tasks.

Hand Therapy services cover a broad spectrum of conditions, including:
