Where is the Hearing and Balance Center?
Inside University Hospital; take the C elevators to the 3rd floor. Turn right after exiting the elevator and we are on the left. We can be reached at 210-358-4583.
How do I get my hearing tested?
Make an appointment with our receptionist. A physician referral is not required unless your insurance requires it.
What causes hearing loss?
There are many factors that cause hearing loss. They include: loud noise exposure, certain medications, bacterial meningitis and genetic factors to name a few.
What is a cochlear implant?
