Things to Bring

  • Lab results you may have at home
  • Legal guardian or power of attorney papers
    • If you are not the parent (natural or adoptive) of a child, you must have papers that document your legal right to give consent for the procedure and anesthesia. If you have any questions please contact the social worker for Outpatient surgery at 210-358-2317.

      You must show proof of guardianship or power of attorney to sign consent for an adult patient.

  • Storage cases for glasses, contact lenses, retainers or dentures
  • Favorite security objects for children (pacifier, toy, blanket, etc.)
  • Favorite bottle or sippy cup for children
