Welcome to Nursing at University Health System. The mission of nursing is to continue to improve the health and well-being of the community of patients we serve. Our focus is to create a choice workplace, to enable staff autonomy, and to enhance the nursing profession. The belief of nursing leadership is that nurses at the bedside are the key to quality and decision making. Bedside nurses are engaged in initiatives to promote patient safety, programs for improving quality and patient satisfaction, and adopting new technologies designed to enhance patient care.
