Statement:
25-year-old boxer, Oscar Diaz, is in critical condition at University Hospital.
Mr. Diaz’s family is overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and appreciates all who continue to offer prayers for Oscar and their family. At this point they are not granting requests for interviews; they absolutely want to focus 100% of their time and attention on his care. No visitors, other than immediate family, are permitted to visit Mr. Diaz.
Further updates on Mr. Diaz’s condition will be made available at the discretion of the family. We appreciate your patience, cooperation and respect for his family’s privacy during this difficult time.
