Our retail Lactation Center is conveniently located in the Lobby Gift Shop at 4502 Medical Drive. Our Lactation Services reflect a growing commitment to breastfeeding that includes bi-lingual lactation consultants, a Warm Line to answer your breast-feeding questions and even a Breastfeeding Boot Camp. By surrounding new moms with encouragement and information, it's no wonder the number of women who breastfeed has rapidly increased.
University Health System is designated by the State of Texas as a Mother Friendly Worksite, sharing its commitment to provide employed mothers with lactation support services.
The Baby and You Lactation Center provides easy access to supplies for successful breastfeeding. The Lactation Center in University Hospital's Gift Shop stocks Medela Breast Pumps for purchase, breast-feeding supplies, and other gift items.
