Baby U Classes
Receive a free car seat and installation when you attend the Child Safety Seat 101 Class along with three other Baby U courses AND deliver your baby at University Hospital. Find Baby U Locations
Only University Health System patients and employees may go to the Baby U series of classes free of charge.*
*There is a fee for the Child Birth Class, and it is the only class where patients from other hospitals can attend, All other classes are reserved solely for UHS patients and employees.

Most classes are offered in English and Spanish.
Child Birth Classes
Be ready when your big day arrives! Learn all you need to know about your pregnancy and delivery. This is not a Lamaze class. This course is $25 for mothers delivering at University Hospital, and $35 for mothers not delivering at University Hospital.
This class is only offered at University Hospital.
Child Safety Seat 101
Learn everything you need to know about safe and responsible transportation of your child. Learn about the different types of car seats used during a child’s development.

Time is hard to come by when you are expecting, which is why University Health System offers "Baby U in a Day." You can complete Child Safety Seat 101, Home Safety, Newborn Care and Infant CPR in one day! Back to Top
Baby Shower Tour
From our state-of-the-art "baby suites" and delivery areas, to the newborn nursery, the baby shower tour
will give you a first hand look at University Hospital. Please call 358-TALK to register and schedule your tour.
This tour does not count toward one of the classes qualifying patients for a free car seat.
