University Hospital’s three nurseries—Newborn, NICU Level II and NICU Level III—foster a safe and nurturing atmosphere for our newborns and provide families with many levels of support and care. From prenatal education to the baby’s delivery to critical care, we concentrate on helping parents and their children adapt to their new lives together, whether in times of calm or times of crises. Our board-certified neonatologists and highly specialized medical services ensure that every baby is given individualized attention and access to the most advanced care and technology available. Our Neonatal Transport Team is on call 24 hours, 7 days a week to rapidly respond to critically ill infants and bring them safely to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for treatment. Our Baby U classes offer a series of child care and parenting classes to help families raise strong and healthy children.
