"The community has
welcomed the clinic and sees it as a much
needed resource for this side of the city. The
concept of having a doctor to go for acute and chronic care has
been new to them. They were used to the old
Brady Green with doctors changing every
three to four months. First time I took
maternity leave, I would have patients ask
me; 'you are coming back,
aren't you', with a look of worry. Through time, they see
that we are here as their primary care
physicians and have come to rely and trust
us for their acute, chronic, and
preventive care."

CareLink is a financial assistance program of the University Health System. It is not insurance. The CareLink program is available to eligible Bexar County residents who do not have health insurance and do not qualify for other programs such as Medicare, Medicaid or the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
