Included in the mission is a vital public health role for the community in the detection and prevention of communicable disease. In collaboration with the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District, we identify and treat Tuberculosis, Gonorrhea, Syphilis and Chlamydia in the detainee population. In addition, we provide staff members and volunteers with TB screening and referral for treatment.
