University Health System Foundation has long benefited from a cadre of loyal and dedicated members of its Board of Directors who uphold the highest standards of stewardship and undivided allegiance to the mission of the organization. Board members believe in, support and articulate the Health System's mission, accomplishments and goals to the public. With Foundation volunteers, they  play an active role in all fund raising endeavors and  facilitate other Foundation support for specific and general needs .

Members include the President and CEO of University Health System, community leaders, and physicians from The UT Health Science Center at San Antonio.
