Adolescent Services

Adolescence is a time of tremendous opportunity and change. It also is a time of heightened vulnerabilities. Programs that can provide information, ensure access to services, and develop life skills are crucial to the future of this population.

Confidential Family Planning Services include:

  • Birth Control Methods
  • Education on reproductive anatomy and physiology
  • Screening & Treatment for STD’s (Sexually Transmitted Diseases)
  • Pregnancy Testing & non-directive counseling & Referrals
  • Comprehensive health assessment to include: pap smears, screening for diabetes and anemia, and urine tests.
  • Screening for domestic violence/abuse
  • Social Service Referrals

Parental Consent:

Minors (17 and under) do not need parental consent to receive family planning services, including birth control. We strongly encourage adolescents to talk to their parents or another trusted adult about sex.
