CareLink is a financial assistance program of the University Health System. It is not insurance. The CareLink program is available to eligible Bexar County residents who do not have health insurance and do not qualify for other programs such as Medicare, Medicaid or the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
CareLink offers families an affordable monthly payment plan that is based on their income and family size. The income can not exceed 300% Federal Poverty Level (FPL) to qualify. CareLink members are able to access quality health care through the University Health System.
