Time and Labor Analyst

Responsibilities include:

  • Manages the PeopleSoft Time and Labor system (PSTL)
  • Responsible for assuring the system is actively processing employee hours, accurately applying Human Resources pay rules, testing and implementing system fixes, upgrades and new releases
  • Communicates changes to all time keepers and approvers

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in personnel, business or human resources required
  • One year experience
  • Four years of professional human resource/payroll experience, PeopleSoft preferred
  • Experience with time & labor implementation within PeopleSoft preferred

Director, Regional Outreach and Business Development

Responsibilities include:

Builds relationships, and serves as a liaison and healthcare administration resource to community hospitals, EMS and local leaders throughout South Texas with the aim of maximizing referrals to University Health System.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred
  • Clinical training and experience preferred
  • Minimum of four years of effective experience in marketing outreach and regional business development required
  • Supervisory and staff development experience strongly desired
  • Project management experience strongly desired

Clinical Nurse Transplant Coordinator

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinates the care of the transplant patients throughout the transplant phases
  • Arranges transplantation while on call to meet institutional and regulatory standards
  • Collaborates to provide the most cost-effective and appropriate care for transplant population
  • Maximizes awareness and utilization of resources and services among patients, families and staff

Qualifications include:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • One year experience
  • Current RN Texas License
  • Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)

Supplier Diversity Analyst

Primarily responsible for assisting in the development, monitoring and statistical reporting of the utilization of diverse vendors such as small, minority, woman, veteran and disabled individual-owned businesses enterprises at University Health System. Requires contact with consultants, prime contractors, suppliers/vendors and subcontractors.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in public administration, business, finance, procurement and acquisitions, or other business related field
  • Three years experience in developing, administering or coordinating supplier diversity initiatives, contract administration activities, database management experience, procurement related experience

The Emergency Center is proud of its role as a Level I Trauma Center. It is made up of 40 beds which include 6 beds dedicated to trauma.

Qualifications include:

  • BSN preferred
  • Night shifts
  • One year or more of experience
