Benefits Analyst

Responsibilities include:

  • Provides leave of absence support for all the University Health System employees
  • Acts as a liaison between management and employees in order to ensure all LOA issues are resolved and communicated accurately
  • Determines LOA eligibility through use of the HRIS system and audits prior to leaves taken
  • Responsible for a working knowledge of legislative issues and laws that affect leave of absence administration

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is required
  • Thorough understanding of legislation to include LOA is required

Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for processing invoices for services and/or materials received using Lawson software to ensure vendor payment
  • Reconciles vendor statements, identifies delinquencies, issues affecting payment delays and follows-up with appropriate parties
  • Contacts vendors and departments to resolve discrepancies
  • Reconciles accounting activities monthly for proper posting and accruals
  • Assists vendors, investigates outstanding invoices, notations of accounts, resolves invoice issues and reconciles invoices to vendor statement

Qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • At least 3 years of experience dealing with accounts payable
  • Must have knowledge of working with vendor contracts and be able to demonstrate during interview
  • Experience in the invoice process with EDI
  • Must have working knowledge of CRT, personal computer, calculator and general office equipment

Laboratory Manager

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for management of staff and operations for multiple laboratories
  • Technical consultant for the Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) program involving non-laboratory testing staff at Outpatient Clinic sites within University Health System
  • Interact as needed with nursing staff, physicians, other hospital departments and Pathology Services management staff

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology or an appropriate biological/chemical science from an accredited college or university is required
  • Successful completion of a structured clinical program (CAHEA approved) and certification as a Medical Technologist or equivalent by a recognized certifying agency is required
  • Minimum five-year's work experience in the clinical laboratory is required

RN Service Coordinator

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with STAR Kids members to coordinate care
  • Coordinate covered services
  • Foster relationships
  • Excellent communication Skills

Qualifications include:

  • BSN highly preferred
  • Texas RN license required
  • 5 years clinical experience
  • Case management or quality experience a plus
  • Pediatric experience preferred
