Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy (PT) is a rehabilitation health career field that prevents, identifies, corrects and alleviates acute or prolonged movement dysfunction of anatomic or physiologic origin. PT's and PTA' (Physical Therapy Assistants) are valuable members of the health care team, trained to improve movement and function, relieve pain and expand mobility potential. Through evaluation and specialized treatment programs, physical therapists can help relieve existing problems and provide preventative health care for adults and children with a variety of needs.

Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy (OT) is a health and rehabilitation profession designed to help people regain and build skills of daily living that are important for health, well being, security and happiness. OT's and COTA's (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants) work with people of all ages who, because of physical, developmental, cognitive or emotional deficits need specialized assistance in learning skills to enable them to lead independent, productive and satisfying lives.

Speech - Language Pathology
Speech - language pathologists are health care professionals who evaluate and treat patients with disorders dealing with communication and oral function (including swallowing). They work in schools, hospitals and private practice with infants, children and adults to improve daily quality of life. Their impact on the rehabilitation of communication, cognition and oral function is an important part of all rehabilitation settings.

Audiologist
Audiologists evaluate and help treat hearing loss and balance disorders. They work with all ages from newborn through adulthood. They frequently coordinate with other medical, educational and allied health professionals in the care of their patients. Audiologists work in hospitals, Otolaryngology Clinics, schools and private practice. Addressing patients' hearing and balance difficulties is key to quality of life issues.
