Welcome to Reeves Rehabilitation Center
University Hospital’s Reeves Rehabilitation Center has been one of the region’s leading providers of comprehensive rehabilitation services since 1994.

Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and The Joint Commission, the Center honors the late San Antonio jurist Judge Blair Reeves and his lifelong determination to master the disabilities he sustained in World War II. In 1967, Judge Reeves had the vision and political courage to save the partially constructed, publicly funded University Hospital from financial ruin. Today, more than 25 years later, University Hospital and Reeves Rehabilitation Center stand as proud testimonials to Judge Reeves's beliefs and leadership.
Reeves Rehabilitation Center is located on the sixth floor of University Hospital, with outpatient services available on the third floor and at four satellite locations throughout San Antonio.
University Hospital is the primary teaching hospital for the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio’s Department of Rehabilitation Medicine (UTHSCSA). The 604-bed hospital -- the flagship of the county-owned University Health System -- also includes the only civilian facility in Bexar County designated as a Level I Trauma Center.
