Statement: All department services fees will be charged to the study account upon utilization at the current Health System rates. Services in excess of those assumed will be at the rates described in Attachment A or otherwise agreed. The Health System reserves the right to make cost-based adjustments to all rates during the term of this Agreement. Further, should the term of the agreement be extended, the parties agree to review the rates described on Attachment A on an annual basis for possible adjustment.

Project Investigators and/or Coordinator should contact the Department Director PRIOR to submittal of the grant to negotiate pricing for activities required of UHS staff to successfully implement the research. Examples include but are not limited to: Special processing of study specimens or images, changes to SOP, equipment adjustment or imaging protocols. Please consider Specialized training time required of UHS staff. Reminder if the study requires reading and reporting of imaging studies, the Project Investigator should negotiate pricing with the Chairman or Administrator of the UTHSCSA Department of Radiology
