Outpatient Services

Specialized Speech & Language Program

At Reeves Rehabilitation, you will find a highly skilled staff who are experts in speech language and treating impairments in communication, memory and thinking, and problems swallowing after a head injury, stroke or neurological disease.

Our Speech Therapy center features state-of-the-art equipment and techniques such as Visipitch, Stroboscopy,Videofloursocopic and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Swallow Evaluations for treating and studying voice disorders, stuttering or speech motor problems and dysphagia (swallowing disorders). Our VitalStim Certified Therapists use neuromuscular, electrical stimulation for the treatment of dysphagia.

Our medical staff understands and meets the needs of laryngectomy patients, including placement and management of voice prosthesis, as well as the placement and management of speaking valves for trach or ventilator dependent patients.

Initial assessments begin with a physician's referral. Referrals or orders may be faxed to our office.  

Our Speech-Language Pathologists are licensed by the State of Texas and certified by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.

  • Videofluoroscopic  Swallow Studies (VFSS)
  • Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES)
  • Laryngeal Videoendoscopy Stroboscopy (LVES)
  • Digital Swallowing Workstation, Integrated Technology for Swallowing Evaluation and Treatment
  • Facial Muscle Exercise Program with Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation
  • Computerized Speech Analysis and Biofeedback

Hours

Speech-Language Pathology hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. To make an appointment or inquire about outpatient speech therapy, please contact our office.
