FIM Change and Length of Stay
The Functional Independence Measure (FIM®) is the most widely accepted functional assessment measure in use in the rehabilitation community. When admitted to Reeves Rehabilitation Center, all inpatients are evaluated in 18 areas. They are evaluated throughout their stay and when they are discharged. It is the change between the admission and dismissal assessments that indicates the amount of functional progress made during a rehabilitation stay. The following represents the performance of Reeves Rehabilitation Center in FIM change in each of the CARF accredited programs.
